Common Rare, the Shanghai creative market, opens its first overseas edition at Suntec Convention Centre Halls 401 and 402 from 18 to 20 September 2026, 12.30pm to 9pm daily. This is also the collective's 10th anniversary. Founders Tiffany Wang and Vivian Sze are bringing more than 200 independent brands. Over 100 of those are first-time Singapore appearances. It is not free. Door tickets are S$7. Children under 12 enter free. Pets on a leash are allowed, which is unusual for this floor.
What the ticket actually buys
Suntec's own listing still quotes online tickets from S$4 for early bird and S$7 at the door. FZINE, writing on 1 September after early bird closed, puts current tickets from S$7 single and S$11 for a two-person bundle. Time Out's 31 August listing said from S$5. Buy on the official site, common-rare.com, which points to Ticketmelon. Do not assume the S$4 rate still works at the gate.
The same weekend is already stacked. HomeFest 2.0 is in Hall 405. Not Another Pet Fair is in Hall 404 on 19-20 September. Hitcheed's bridal market is in Hall 403. Common Rare is the paid design market in 401-402. If you are bringing a dog, this is the hall that says yes. The pet fair next door is the one built around pet brands. Do not drag the same animal through both unless it actually likes indoor noise.
Who is on the floor
Time Out named a useful slice of the roster. From the region: Malaysia's Anaabu (slow-fashion apparel) and Futuremade Studio (utility streetwear), Thailand's Japfac (geometric bags), Indonesia's Earth Major, Stooli shoes, and Humblezing outdoor wear. From further out: Shawna Chan (US, Peranakan-rooted illustration, beads, ceramics) and Shanghai's Grumpy Animal Club. Singapore names on the same list: Epilogue Fragrances, Cruddy, Hands On Film, Scent Journer, Studio Yono, Rehyphen (cassette-tape upcycles), and Talking Toes.
Streething is bringing more than 20 niche Southeast Asian fashion and lifestyle labels. GREEN-HOUSE is running a sustainability mini-store. The official site also flags indie prints, toys, and an F&B row. Time Out's June preview listed coffee from PPP Coffee, Homeground Coffee Roasters, Morning, and Smitten, plus food from Hello Arigato and Berrybar. Confirm those names on the brand directory closer to the weekend. Line-ups at this scale shift.
Beyond shopping, the Suntec page promises live music, workshops, and an art exhibition. Performance names were still unlisted when FZINE went up on 1 September. Follow @common.rare. The point of this edition is not another local flea. It is 100-plus brands you usually have to fly to Taipei, Seoul, Bangkok, or Shanghai to browse, parked in two Suntec halls for three days.
