Public Garden returns to Suntec Singapore on 12 and 13 September 2026, 1pm to 7pm, in Halls 405 and 406 on Level 4. Admission is free. It is the indie design market that keeps coming back to this building: April was Halls 403-404, this edition takes the two halls Twilight does not occupy. If you want ceramics, stationery, and jewellery rather than smashed burgers, this is the quieter of the two weekends, until the queue hits the doors at 1pm.
Two halls, six hours, no ticket
The Suntec calendar describes a regional mix of handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, homeware, stationery, and clothing. That matches how Public Garden actually runs. Time Out's April 2026 preview named Hon Studio (Taiwanese leather), NGDGOODS (Thai bags), Kazuki Edo (Japanese wire-mesh jewellery), and OKD Studio (blue-and-white ceramics) as typical of the floor. Those names rotate. The format does not: two days, 1pm to 7pm, free walk-in, cash plus PayNow, and a hall that looks like a night market under fluorescent lights.
Instagram from Japanese jewellery brand Pink Owl Bijou, posted 1 September, confirms they are flying in for this exact weekend at Halls 405 and 406, with designs not yet sold in Japan and a gift-with-purchase. That is the useful signal. Public Garden is still a Singapore-run market, but a chunk of the tables are regional makers who only appear here a few times a year.
How this weekend actually works at Suntec
Twilight: Flea and Feast occupies Halls 401-403 from Friday through Sunday, noon to 10pm. Public Garden opens Saturday. You can eat at Twilight, then walk the corridor into 405-406 without going back down to the mall. Last entry for Public Garden is effectively closing time. Honeycombers' last Suntec guide still holds: arrive at opening or near 6pm if you hate shoulder-to-shoulder browsing. Mid-afternoon on Saturday is the crush.
The nearest MRT is Promenade or Esplanade. Follow convention centre signs for Level 4, not the mall atrium. Parking is the usual Suntec mess on a school-holiday Saturday. The market is not billed as pet-friendly. Common Rare, two weekends later, is. Do not assume the same rules apply here.
Honeycombers still has the best operational note from the last Suntec edition: budget at least two hours if you want a full lap, and treat the fitting-room corner at the back as the overflow for clothing brands. Time Out's April 2026 write-up is the last detailed English preview of the same organiser in this building. Names rotate, but the categories do not. Stationery people should go in looking for washi, stickers, and small-press prints. Ceramic people should go in with bubble wrap. Jewellery people should go in knowing Pink Owl is not the only Japanese table, just the one that posted first this month.
Official updates live on Instagram at @publicgardensg. The organiser site is public-garden.com. There is no RSVP. Bring a tote. Cards fail at some regional booths, so keep some cash. If you only have Sunday, go then. Saturday is when the same crowd is also doing Twilight.
