Singapore University of Social Sciences is taking over two convention halls next Wednesday for its flagship ageing-and-innovation day. The Geronpreneurship Innovation Festival (GIF) 2026 runs on 26 August 2026 at Suntec Singapore, Halls 403 and 404, from 9am to 6pm. Admission is free with registration.
The theme is “The Power of Purpose in Ageing: Our Future Chapter”. GIF sits under the Ngee Ann Kongsi Social Impact Hub and is built as a meeting ground for innovators, founders, care organisations, researchers, policymakers, students, seniors and caregivers — not a trade-only closed door.
What you can try
The public programme is more hands-on than a typical conference. Confirmed from the organiser's Eventbrite listing:
- Meet LOVOT, the social companion robot
- Try senior esports
- Browse innovations for independent living
- A chance to experience a Harley-Davidson ride
The rest of the day is conversations, showcases and cross-sector matching. ELDEX Asia, which returns to Suntec in October, is listed as a community partner and is pointing people here as a warm-up.

Halls 403 and 404, Level 4, Suntec Singapore, 1 Raffles Boulevard. Promenade or Esplanade MRT. If you are coming for both GIF and ELDEX, they are six weeks apart in the same building — GIF is the one-day festival, ELDEX is the three-day community longevity expo.
