We went for an early dinner at 6pm on a Sunday before catching a concert and was seated immediately. No queue at all. One of the ordering staff seemed to be in a hurry to get our orders as he came to our table repeatedly in the 5 minutes …

very good quality Japanese food. First time patronising the millenia walk outlet. Had the sushi lunch set and it was good value. Service staff were very polite and attentive. Restaurant is also quiet and conducive.

Great Japanese restaurant for an elevated experience. Their sushi are always very generous and the egg sushi is the best I’ve ever eaten!

Tomi positions itself as your everyday comfort Japanese food that also serves decent sushi. Tomi doesn't excel in one thing, but is memorable because you couldn't choose what you wanted to eat. There are so many things to choose from, whether sushi, sashimi, soba, udon, tempura, etc. And when you want a cold beer with a bite or two of various Japanese comfort food, Tomi is your place to go. Now, the interior could use a little bit more help. Faux wood all over with barely any cushion on the booth benches. But the lacquered wood just throws off the mood in subtle ways. And then the service. I couldn't understand what our server was offering nor proposing. But also, she was very aggressive. Don't think it is a trend with everyone, but again, threw us off from the comfort food and beer mood. The sushi wasn't bad, but unfortunately, the fish wasn't the freshest. They were middle of the line sushi. And again, you can't expect too much in this type of a set up. Again, they tried for sure. Tomi Sushi is a solid place. Reasonably priced. Above average comfort food. Wide variety. But most importantly, you can have a great time with your friends & family.

A wonderful place to have fresh sushi and Japanese sets for lunch. Not easy to maintain quality and price point all these years but Tomi Sushi has done this well. Service is good too. Look out for seasonal specials.

Overall, the food was decent, though not particularly memorable. The saba fish was fresh and well-cooked, and our set meals were served promptly. It was odd that the staff hurried to clear our plates before we had finished, despite many empty tables in the restaurant. Aside from that, the overall dining experience was pleasant. My favourite Tomi Sushi outlet remains the one in Katong, for it's quality of food and service.

This has been our go-to establishment for authentic Japanese cuisine for years and the quality of the food and service standards have been top notch every time. Their set menus in particular allow you to have a little bit of everything from their wide selection of menu items. Our absolute favourite is the cold udon. Done al dente, it gives a firm but bouncy mouthfeel that pairs perfectly with the light dipping sauce. Truly a masterful serving that we have yet to experience elsewhere outside of Japan.

Heard so much about this Japanese chain so thought to give it a try. The menu was extensive and pictures look impressive and mouth watering. However, the food standard was only so so at best. Not that they were bad, but I …
